All parents of baseball players between the ages of 13 and 18 are invited. Basketball HARVEST FAIR 3-ON-3 OUTDOOR HOOP TOURNAMENT — The second annual event will be Sept. 28-29 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. Girls can play a division down. Cost is $35 per team, with a three-game guarantee. Competition for 9th-10th-grade, 11th-12th-grade and open divisions on Sept. 28. Figure Skating EXHIBITION OF STARS — Saturday, 5 p.m., at The Rrrink, 1349 Center Drive, in the Southgate Shopping Center near Fred Meyer. Speakers this week are North Medford coach John Beck and South Medford coach Bill Singler. BEAVER HUDDLE — Meets at noon Mondays at JJ North’s Grand Buffet, 1016 N. Riverside. Cost of lunch is $7.50. Meetings slated for Sept. 30, Oct. 21 and Oct. 28. OREGON CLUB — Meets at noon Wednesdays at JJ North’s Grand Buffet, 1016 N. Riverside. Meetings slated for Sept. 18, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and Nov. 6, 13 and 20. General ATHLETIC COMMITTEE — School District 6 is taking applications for an advisory athletic committee that meets three times a year. Members are appointed by the school board with terms of one, two and three years. Applications are available at the District Administration Office, 451 N. 2nd St., Central Point. Deadline is Friday. Rowing ASHLAND ROWING CLUB CLINIC — Information meeting today from 6-9 p.m. at the Ashland Middle School library. The first three rowing lessons are 7-8:30 a.m. on Sept. 18-19 and 6-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19. Participants must attend one of these sessions before rowing on the lake. There will be three rowing lessons for clinic participants: either Sept. 21 or 22 at 10 a.m. and Sept. 28 or 29 at 10 a.m. The rowing clinic lessons are $75.
