The tip led Medford police to open an investigation against Hagey, which culminated with a sting in which the informant allegedly sold 1.75 grams of methamphetamine to Hagey at about 9 p.m. Dec. 30 at a Purple Parrot in the Medford Center. Police moved in to arrest Hagey, who allegedly dropped the baggie of meth onto the ground, according to a search warrant affidavit filed with Jackson County Circuit Court. Hagey, 48, faces a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. He was cited and released. During a search of Hagey's Medford home in the 200 block of Dunthorpe Drive on the night of his arrest, police allegedly found two plastic baggies of a crystal substance that tested positive for meth and meth paraphernalia, according to a search warrant return filed by Oregon State Police. Police seized multiple guns, ammunition, cellphones, tablets and a laptop, the return shows. They also seized computers, documents and cellphones from his office at Community Justice and a 9 mm pistol from his car, a 2010 Dodge Charger. According to the search warrant affidavit, the informant allegedly had been selling small amounts of methamphetamine to Hagey for about year at various Medford locations, including a Flamingo's and Shari's. Jackson County Community Justice oversees adult parole and probation, juvenile probation, detention and residential services for offenders and the Jackson County Transition Center. — Nick Morgan By Nick Morgan Mail Tribune Follow @@mtcrimebeat MailTribune.com By Nick Morgan Mail Tribune Follow @@mtcrimebeat Posted Jan. 8, 2016 at 4:41 PM Updated Jan 8, 2016 at 6:16 PM » Comment or view comments   Reader Reaction »  STAY INFORMED   Email NewsLetter   Sign Up Today   Sign up for our newsletter and have the top headlines from your community delivered right to your inbox.
