Medford police arrested Parker Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree theft, fourth-degree assault and two counts of harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Saturday night on $34,000 bail. Fraud — Diana Lyn Romero, 40, of the 300 block of Bessie Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Romero Friday on charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and attempted second-degree theft. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Saturday night on $7,000 bail. Drugs — Randall James Snodgrass, 40, of the 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Snodgrass Friday on charges of possession of amphetamines and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Saturday night on $8,000 bail. Drugs — Laurance Augustine Sweeney, 43, of the 4100 block of Avenue A, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sweeney Friday on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Saturday night on $5,000 bail. Weapons — Jason Michael Robinson, 24, of the 8200 block of 23rd Street, White City. A deputy arrested Robinson Saturday on charges of being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon and carrying a concealed knife. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Saturday night on $7,000 bail. Advertisement Eluding — Keith Gary Freeman, 49, of Seattle. Ashland police arrested Freeman Saturday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail, then released Saturday when he posted cash on $19,000 bail. Assault — Daniel Orbie Ruddick, 26, of the 3100 block of Bursell Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Ruddick Saturday on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, harassment and failure to appear on a past assault charge. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Saturday night on $4,000 bail. Theft — Kenneth Edwin Thomas Jr., 26, of the 600 block of Archwood Drive, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Thomas Saturday on charges of first-degree theft and unauthorized entry into a vehicle. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Saturday night on $9,000 bail. Drugs — John Michael Gibson, 28, of the 500 block of Fairmont Street, Medford. A deputy arrested Gibson Saturday on charges of possession of amphetamines and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail, then released when he posted cash on $8,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 8000 block of Hale Way, White City. A deputy took a report Saturday of a theft of a toolbox valued at $1,400. Theft — 11500 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. A deputy took a report Saturday of a theft of a water pump with an estimated value of $800. Theft — 300 block of West Dutton Road, Eagle Point. A deputy took a report Saturday of a theft of a bike valued at $1,500. Fire calls Dryer fire — 600 block of Elm Way, Eagle Point. A man heading out for a day of water-skiing went back into his house for one last item and smelled smoke. Upon checking, he discovered a small fire spreading up the wall of the laundry room. Jackson County Fire District No. 3 firefighters responded and quickly extinguished the fire.
