She passed away April 28, 2015. She married George C. Chang in 1950. He passed away in 2013, after 63 years of marriage. They lived in Medford, Ore. for the past 25 years (living previously in Honolulu and Southern California). They had two children, Corliss (Corry) and Gordon. Mom loved to bake, cross stitch, read, play Mah Jong, Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging), and play Nickel--a card game. She spent the last four years at the Rogue Valley Manor. Survivors include Corry and Jeff Louie, Richard and Katherine Louie (2 kids), April and Chris Ikeda (3 kids), Lisa and Aron Rono, Sarah Louie, Gordon and Barbara Chang, Phoebe Chang, and Teresa Chang. We wish to thank the Health Center Staff at the Manor for their patience in Mom’s care, especially for letting her “help” out with paperwork or fall asleep with her head on a blanket at the front desk. We will all miss the woman who wore red shirts and black pants. Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the Rogue Room at the Skyline Plaza (Rogue Valley Manor campus). Reception to follow. Feel free to wear Hawaiian or bright clothes. Please send donations to the Presbyterian Women at Westminster Presbyterian Church. 2000 Oakwood Dr. Medford, Oregon 97504.
