Ethel Mary McCann Oct 31, 2006 12:00 AM A A Ethel Mary McCann Oct. 12, 1914~Oct. 28, 2006 Ethel Mary McCann, 92, of Shady Cove, died Saturday at her home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 2nd, 10:30 a.m. at Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Shady Cove with a graveside service following at Trail Cemetery. Reverend William McHugh will officiate. Ethel was born in Fort Huron, Mich. to Joseph Herbert and Emma Hatch. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1938 from Craig, Colo. In 1944 in Central Point, she married Charles E. McCann. Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the catholic church. She is survived by her son, William Wayman; daughter, Mildred McWhorter; brothers, Vern Herbert and Robert Shutt; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
