Divers from a Josephine County sheriff’s search-and-rescue team Saturday recovered the bodies of David B. Monahan, 47, and Daniel Wayne Miller, 41. Investigators believe both men jumped to their deaths from the Parkway Bridge on Friday night, sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Selig said in a news release. Investigators were able to contact relatives of Monahan to inform them of his death but have not located any of Miller’s family members. Miller was identified after police found his driver’s license in a backpack at a nearby park, Selig said. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about events surrounding the drownings is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 474-5123.
