How much does the county receive from these dealers for the use of the grounds? — Murrey D., Central Point It’s not quite every weekend, Murray. According to Expo director Chris Borovansky, there are about five auto shows and three RV shows every year. The Expo fee ranges from $3,000 to $11,000, depending on how big the show is and where it is located at the fairgrounds. "They are very lucrative," Borovansky said. "We like them, and we don’t have to do a lot." One reason the Expo likes them is that the county several years ago required the Expo to be self-sustaining. So the money it brings in from car shows and the like helps to pay the bills and keep the gates open. Send questions to "Since You Asked," Mail Tribune Newsroom, P.O.
