Robert Arthur Engel Oct 18, 2017 12:00 AM A A May 29, 1931 - October 14, 2017 Robert Arthur Engel, of Central Point, Oregon, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 from natural causes in his home where he lived happily with his wife Dorinda, who survives him. He was born May 29, 1931 in Santa Ana, California. Robert is also survived by seven children and 21 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, two children, and three grandchildren. Bob served as a Marine in the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart for his service. He was a loving husband and caring father. A military honors ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
