Police reports, May 26-30 May 30, 2017 12:00 AM A A Friday, 2 a.m. — Police arrested a man for driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Friday, 10:58 a.m. — Police arrested a man on a warrant in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Friday, 1:19 p.m. — Police arrested a man in the 200 block of North First Street for stealing a beer from the Ashland Food Co-op. As he ran from store security, he ran into a juvenile female and knocked her into the bushes. Friday, 3:11 p.m. — Police cited a man in the 200 block of Water Street for having an open alcoholic beverage container in public. Friday, 11:29 p.m. — Police arrested a man in the 200 block of Water Street on an outstanding warrant. Saturday, 12:28 a.m. — Police arrested a man at the intersection of North Main and Helman streets for driving under the influence of alcohol. Saturday, 12:53 a.m. — A male was reported as being missing and endangered in the Ashland area, but was later located. Saturday, 11:20 a.m. — Police investigated a theft report in the 300 block of Skycrest Drive. Saturday, 12:59 p.m. — Police cited a woman for having an open alcoholic beverage container in the first block of Winburn Way. Saturday, 2:32 p.m. — Police arrested a man on several warrants in the first block of North Main Street. Saturday, 8:03 p.m. — Police found lost cell phones in the 100 block of Will Dodge Way. Sunday, 1:25 a.m. — A subject stop in the first block of Morton Street led to an arrest for a felon in possession of a restricted weapon. Sunday, 6:18 a.m. — A welfare check in the 2300 block of Ashland Street led to a subject being placed in protective custody and later taken to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center for an evaluation. Sunday, 5:08 p.m. — Unknown suspects vandalized the greenhouse at Walker School, in the 300 block of Walker Avenue. Sunday, 5:14 p.m. — Police responded to a two car motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Oak and East Nevada streets. Sunday, 7:15 p.m. — Police arrested a man for harassment and interfering with a police officer in the 300 block of North Main Street. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail. Monday, 12:37 a.m. — A suicide call in the 400 block of Wightman Street led to a a subject being placed in protective custody and transported to detox. Monday, 2:15 a.m. — Police stopped a woman for a traffic violation in the 500 block of Fairview Street and cited and released her for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Monday, 2:54 a.m. — Police lodged a man in the Jackson County Jail for unlawful possession of methamphetamine at the intersection of South First and East Main streets. Monday, 3:59 a.m. — Police stopped a subject in the first block of North Main Street and transported him to detox. Monday, 11:24 a.m. — A woman reported the theft of a license plate in the Ashland area. Monday, 3:11 p.m. — Police arrested a man in the 2200 block of Ashland Street on a felony warrant. Monday, 3:35 p.m. — Police cited a man for use of marijuana in public in the first block of East Main Street. Monday, 4:45 p.m. — Police cited a man for having an open alcoholic beverage container in the 100 block of Will Dodge Way. Monday, 6:43 p.m. — Police arrested a man for disorderly conduct at the intersection of North Pioneer and East Main streets and lodged him in the Jackson County Jail. Monday, 6:48 p.m. — Police investigated a burglary in the 600 block of Holly Street. Monday, 11:47 p.m. — Police investigated the theft of a 2002 Hyundai Elantra in the first block of Water Street. Tuesday, 2:10 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a possible restraining order violation in the 800 block of Faith Avenue. The report was unfounded.
