Donald Barrett, 65, remains in the jail on two counts of first-degree assault and two additional counts of unlawful use of a weapon. His bail is set at $50,000, according to jail records.  Oregon State Police said troopers responded to reports of a menacing call in the 800 block of Placer Road in Sunny Valley at about 6 p.m. While en route, troopers received a second notification from Josephine County 911 that two men had been shot. Troopers and emergency personnel found two Sunny Valley men, 42-year-old Brian Leque and 41-year-old Robert Greinke, with gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported Leque to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, where he remains in fair condition, hospital personnel said. Responders transported Greinke to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, where he is in serious condition. OSP reported that both men live in the same home and are neighbors of Barrett. Information on what prompted the original menacing call and subsequent shooting was not immediately available.  We will update this story when we have more information.  Reach reporter Ryan Pfeil at 541-776-4468 or [email protected] .
