A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Knapp Thursday on charges of possession of amphetamines and warrants charging failure to appear on charges of possession, delivery and manufacture of amphetamines. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained Thursday night on $13,000 bail. Drugs — Jaime Alejandro Guevara-Perez, 37, no address listed. The Jackson County Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Guevara-Perez Thursday on charges of possession, manufacture and delivery of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Thursday night on $25,000 bail. Crime reports Theft — 700 block of West Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report Thursday morning of a theft of two horses valued at $2,650. No description of the animals was available in preliminary police reports. Fire calls Home fire — 2100 block of Taylor Road, Central Point. Jackson County Fire District No. 3 responded to a report of a fire at a trailer park at 9:16 a.m. Wednesday. Officials said a woman had fallen asleep in bed with a cigarette, which ignited bedding. She woke up and ran outside calling for help, and a neighbor pulled the smoldering mattress outside and doused it. The fire was out when seven firefighters arrived, but they provided fans to clear the home of smoke.
