October 21. 2014 2:00AM Bob Owen Robert (Bob) Arden Owen passed into the arms of his loving Savior on the morning of October 12, 2014 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. Bob was born January 18, 1946 in St. Louis, Mo. His family moved west to southern California, where at the age of 17 Bob joined the U.S. Navy. He served on the USS Ticonderoga in the Pacific Ocean. He went on to a 30-year career in the heating and air conditioning business retiring in 1998. He enjoyed off-road racing, raising horses, bowling, and country-western dancing. Friendly and outgoing, Bob never met a stranger, and he was quick to share a story or brag about his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley; his daughter, Michele (Rick); and his step-children, D-Ann (David), James, and D.J. (Bre); 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at the Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, Ore.
