A Central Point police officer Saturday arrested Babb on charges of first-degree theft and second-degree theft. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance. Driving under the influence — Michael Marc Tenney, 20, of the 300 block of Benson Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Tenney on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a suspended license and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $30,000 bail. Drugs — Robin Deanna Crowder, 40, of the 100 block of North Front Street, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday arrested Crowder on charges of possession of amphetamines, providing false information to police about a crime and a probation violation. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Theft — Joan Arlene Johnson, 49, of the 1000 block of Crews Road, Medford. A Medford police officer late Friday arrested Johnson on a warrant charging her with first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Crime report Burglary — 100 block of Washington Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a vacant home and stole three heaters, four light fixtures and several tools valued at $1,250. Fire call Structure fire — 20000 block of Williams Highway, Williams. Crews from Applegate Fire District No. 9 were able to extinguish a blaze that started as a flue fire and spread into the walls of a home, Capt. Greg Gilbert said.
