Spartans crush Blue Nov 23, 2014 12:00 AM A A The Southern Oregon Spartans cruised past the Lake Tahoe Blue during Western States Hockey League action on Friday, winning 10-1 at The RRRink. Mackenzie Wood and Anton Ivehed both had one goal and three assists and Drew Carriere recorded two goals and an assist for Southern Oregon, which outshot Lake Tahoe, 44-28. Anton Bokull added two goals for the Spartans (15-5). Goalkeeper Tyler Van Vliet made 19 saves in about 40 minutes against the Blue (4-15).
