Rowe of Guinda, after 26 years of separation, is taken from the Yolo, Calif., Democrat. Lovers are sometimes reunited after a quarter of a century's separation, and divorced couples sometimes resume partnership following a short dissolution, but Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Marsellus Rowe of Yolo County gave Cupid a job on which precedent could be drawn on little, if any. Story of separation Twenty-six years ago, when "Mark" Rowe was 22 years of age and his wife, 28, they "agreed together that they never could agree," but, unlike the couple in Will Carlton's famous poem, they did not change their opinion "with a quickness queer to see." They were sure that Cupid had made a mistake in matching hearts, and it took the winged archer more than the years of a silver wedding span to prove he was right. Today I.M. Rowe, of Guinda, and Mrs. Helen Flint Rowe, of Medford, Oregon, again plighted troth. Reverend N.E. Gibbs officiated at today's ceremony in the Methodist Episcopal parsonage. Mrs. Gibbs was the witness. Mrs. Rowe came down from Oregon on the 3:30 train this morning. Will reside at Guinda The rejoined couple have children, all of whom, of course, have grown up since their parents' divorce. There are also two grandchildren. Mr. Rowe met again his wife that was and was to be last winter while in Oregon. They found that the embers of their old love were only smothered, not extinguished, and that they flamed brightly once more. Arrangements were made for the event that took place at Woodland today. Mr. and Mrs. Rowe live at Guinda. They have excellent reputations.
