She married Joseph Lee in 1965 and we are incredibly thankful that they were able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary just two weeks before her passing. After moving to Southern Oregon in 1971, the family eventually settled in Medford and Johanna worked as a certified nursing assistant for nearly 20 years, mainly at Providence Hospital in Medford. J ohanna loved being a mother to her three boys and devoted aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and extended family, especially the children. Her favorite places and activities included camping at Lake of the Woods and being mischievous with whatever children happened to be around.     As an active member of the New Apostolic Church, she served in many roles, some of which included organist, choir member, Sunday school teacher, and voluntary groundskeeper (a task in which her sons sometimes assisted.) She was passionate about music and never missed an opportunity to get people singing in her home. Holidays weren’t official until someone sat at the piano and the singing began. Johanna is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; her son, John and daughter-in-law, Vee Ann; son, Eric; son, Ryan and daughter-in-law Emily; her adoring grandchildren Amber, Suzanna amd Eliza; and her great-grandchildren Dani and Jaqui.    Johanna was preceded into eternity by her sisters Seena and Elizabeth. She is survived by sisters, Trina, Reina, Elsie, Swanee and brother, John. A memorial service for Johanna Lee will be held at 3pm Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the New Apostolic Church, 2121 Delta Waters Road, Medford, Ore. A reception will follow and attendees are asked to prepare stories and convey memories in a celebration of life. Johanna, Mom, Oma: We love you so much. God be with you until we meet again.
