Cecilia was born in Seattle, Wash. to her loving parents Cecil Bobbett and Marie Barnett. The family grew to four brothers and three sisters and all but one brother and sister preceded her in death. Cecilia graduated from St. Marys HS with her diploma. Her first job was with Harry and David as one of their first KeyPunch operators. Shortly thereafter the family moved to Seattle and she began working in the shipbuilding yards during the war as a welder. She met the love of her life, Navy Bugle Master Bobby Eugene Wood at the Seattle Roller Rink. They were married soon thereafter and started their family having a daughter, Cheryl Ann Taboada and a son, Eugene Lee Wood, both their children blessed them with two grandchildren each, Diana, Rebecca, and Angela and David, all now living in Medford. Cecilia and Bob were avid roller skaters and dancers, and went on to start a adult roller skating club called the Easy Rollers. They were also involved in golfing at Cedar Links where she made her first and only hole-in-one. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Memory Gardens in Medford. It will be a Hawaiian attire celebration of life, as she loved playing her Hawaiian guitar.
