Gregory David Mills “Daddaluski” Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jan. 30, 2015 @ 8:47 pm Posted Jan. 30, 2015 @ 8:47 pm » Social News Gregory David Mills Daddaluski Gregory David Mills Daddaluski, 37, entered into eternal rest on the evening of January 22, 2015, at Rogue Regional Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. Greg courageously battled Stage IV Colon/Liver Cancer for over 3 years, never complaining or waivering in his fight, Faith, hope, or courage. He was born in Medford, Ore. December 6, 1977 to James David and Janice Mills. He graduated from North Medford High School in 1996. He attended college at Southern Oregon University and Rogue Community College. A strong desire and dream of Greg's was to work alongside his father, which led him to starting his career at Airport Chevrolet in 1991. He started his career as a lot attendant, working his way up to General Manager and part owner. He had a strong work ethic and always strived to become better, more knowledgable, and helped grow Airport Chevrolet into what it is today. He strived to take care of his customers and employee's and deeply cared about each one. It was not just a job for him, it was his passion and in his blood. He met his future wife of 11 ½ years, Alisa, in 1999 and they were married September 6, 2003. Greg was anxious to become a father and welcomed his first born, Madison, July 9, 2004. At just five days old, Greg would bring her to work with him and they have been little buddies ever since. He welcomed his second child, Alexa, November 15, 2006, who he later deemed as glow stick manager and she completed his family. Fatherhood was everything to Greg, and he worked, breathed, and fought for his girls until the end. If he wasn't alongside them, he was telling fun stories about them with a smile on his face. The pure mention of their names would light up his face. Sparrow Clubs was near to his heart and any chance he got to be a part of it, he jumped at the opportunity. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He loved camping, trips to Disneyland, going to the movies, bowling, good BBQ food, Lego's, trains, History Channel, How It's Made, Perry, the Rocky movies ,boating, 4-wheeler's, and so much more. He didn't care what he was doing as long as he was doing it with his family and friends. He had such a passion, excitement, and love for life, family, friends, and community. Survivors include Greg's wife, Alisa Mills; children, Madison and Alexa Mills; parents, Dave and Janice Mills; brother, Doug Mills (Shasta, Brandon, Lauryn); grandmother, Joan Roth Ross (Jim); in-laws, Fred and Kay Bennett; sister-in-law, Tricia DePontee (Ric, Lauren, Reese); uncles and aunts, Steve and Vickie Ryder, John and Debbie Jamison, Mark and Susan McQueen, and Jon and April Mills; cousins, Jamie Causey (Kameron, Paisley, Josie), Mike Ryder (KaLeigh, Lochlan, Kennedy), Michelle Jamison (Desta), Andrew Jamison (Zugell, Xander, Caden ), and Brian McQueen; and bestfriends, Jeremy Nisbet (Kristin, Taylor, Tatem, Kemper, Kapri) and John North. Greg was preceded in death by his grandpa, Otto Roth; and grandparents, Jim and Fern Mills. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 East McAndrews Road, Medford, Ore. 97504. Pastor Dale Schaeffer and Perry Atkinson will officiate. There will be a light reception to follow.
