SOHS research library reopens By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Jun 01, 2021 03:48 PM A A FILE PHOTO: Pat Harper of the Southern Oregon Historical Society looks through a box of historical photos at the SOHS library in downtown Medford [Mail Tribune / Andy Atkinson] The Southern Oregon Historical Society’s research library has reopened after being closed for more than a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release. The library, at 106 N. Central Ave., in Medford, contains a sizable collection of historical documents, maps, films and photographs. It is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, the release said. A staff archivist manages the facility, with assistance from volunteers. Masks will be required for those who use the facilities.
