Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Advertisement Email Story to a Friend July 1, 2005 Emergency Services Felony arrests Drugs — Jeremy Aron Drake, 29, of the 1100 block of West Ninth Street, Medford. Medford police officers Thursday arrested Drake following a pursuit in and around the 100 block of South Riverside Avenue. Drake had attempted to elude police officers while riding a bicycle, Medford police Lt. Mike Moran said. Drake was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on warrants charging him with methamphetamine possession and failure to appear in court. He was being held late Thursday on $18,000 bail. Drugs — Jennifer Lynn Beaver, 31, of the 100 block of Columbus Avenue. Medford police officers Thursday arrested Beaver on warrants charging her with two counts of possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, delivering methamphetamine and failure to appear in court. A citizen informed police of Beaver’s whereabouts after learning she was wanted, Moran said. Beaver’s photograph appeared in Tuesday’s Mail Tribune, in a "Meth Watch" feature. Moran said the informant phoned Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon, and will receive a cash reward for the information that led them to Beaver. Beaver was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $65,000 bail. Assault — Angelina Marie Santana, 24, of the 500 block of Lynn Road, Eagle Point. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Santana on charges of fourth-degree assault and parole violation. She was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Paul Emanuel Norton, 22, of the 400 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Norton on two counts of methamphetamine possession, possession of synthetic drugs, fourth-degree assault and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Sergio Sanchez-Moreno, 28, of the 300 block of South Fifth Street, Central Point. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Sanchez-Moreno on charges of manufacturing, delivery and possession of heroin and being an illegal alien. He was lodged in jail without bail. Theft — Joe Vernon Geronimo Robinson, 23, of the 200 block of West Gregory Road, Central Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday arrested Robinson on charges of first-degree theft and failure to maintain a metal-purchase record. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $8,000 bail. Advertisement Burglary, theft — Adam Michael Ochoa, 25, no known address. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Ochoa on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $69,000 bail. Theft — Jennifer Lynn Thomas, 34, of the 1500 block of Queens Ranch Road, Rogue River. A sheriff’s deputy Thursday arrested Thomas on charges of first-, second- and third- degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail, and later released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Sharon Ann Smith, 43, of the 700 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Smith appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Vehicle theft — Race Little Eagle Pearson, 20, of the 300 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. Pearson appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Elijah Emmuel Plaza, 22, of the 5000 block of Highway 227, Trail. Plaza appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Dean Andrew Morton, 47, of the 400 block of West Main Street, Medford. Morton appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine and reckless driving. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Crime reports Criminal mischief — 900 block of Royal Court, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report in which a car door was damaged during an attempted theft. The damage was valued at $1,000. Theft — 900 block of Royal Court, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report in which an Alpine stereo, 40 compact discs and a CD case were stolen. The total value of the items was $760. Burglary — 100 block of Highland Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report in which two rings were stolen from a residence. The total value of the rings was $2,000.
