Raba Hastine Humphries Aug 04, 2017 12:00 AM A A Raba Hastine "Hassie" Humphries, passed away August 2, 2017 at Providence Hospital in Medford, Oregon. She was born March 1921 to John and Hydle Hillman in Mississippi. Hastine was a loving and loyal wife for over 40 years. "Hassie" was a very caring, steadfast, and devoted mother to all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for 77 years. She was a homemaker, church volunteer, and farmer. She enjoyed her church work, quilting, outdoor work, and recreation. Hastine was a homemaker, volunteer in the Bethel Assembly of God and First Church of the Nazarene in Medford, and a farmer. She enjoyed working with the church, quilting and outdoor work and recreation. She is survived by daughters, Bernice and Donna Jo; sons, Billy and Carl; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, J. W. Humphries; son, Roy Lamar; and 10 brothers and sisters. August 5, 2017 a viewing will be held at 2:00 p.m. and celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Perl Funeral Home, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd. Medford, OR. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Gowland with visitation at 2:00 p.m. A graveside burial service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Missions Outreach at First Church of the Nazarene, Medford.
