Power outage planned in Merlin area - Gate House

November 13. 2014 2:35PM Power outage planned in Merlin area About 600 Pacific Power customers in the Merlin area will see the lights go out late tonight into Friday morning while crews move electrical equipment for an Oregon Department of Transportation highway relocation project. A news release from the utility company says the outage is scheduled to start around 11 p.m. and is expected to wrap up around 5 a.m. Friday. The area along Monument Drive and Pleasant Valley Road will be affected, along with portions of Ort Lane and Josephine Street. Traffic signals will be operational and flag crews will be at the intersection of Monument Drive and Merlin Road to direct traffic. Customers have been notified about the outages.
