Connie was born May 19, 1964 in San Fernando, Calif. to John and Joellen Barber. Prior to making Medford her home for the last 16 years, she lived in Roseburg, Ore.; Coos Bay, Ore.; and Central Oregon. Graduating from Roseburg High School in 1982 and Western School of Commercial Lending in 2008. She continued to work in the banking industry her entire career. She enjoyed crafting, jewelry making, camping, watching her boys play sports, spending time with friends, and was an avid United Way member and team mom. Connie is survived by her husband, Daren Doolittle; sons, Austin Jordan “AJ” Doolittle and Braden Avery Doolittle; mother, Joellen Barber; sister, DeAnn Leigh Barber Dalgliesh; brother, Wes Lee Barber (Carrie); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as friends, Dave DuBois and McKensey Peters. Connie was preceded in death by her father, John Barber; grandparents, Dee and Walt Barber and Conrad and Jessie Massier; and brother, Kyle Lee Barber. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Touvelle State Park in Central Point, Ore. Please bring a helium balloon to release in Connie’s honor. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cancer charity of your choice in Connie’s honor.
