She was born April 18, 1945 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Jim and Anita Stolz. Her family soon moved to Oklahoma where Carolyn grew up. It was there she learned to place her trust in Jesus Christ; a faith that never, ever left her heart. Carolyn was both bright and adventurous. She studied aviation in college (finishing with the highest score on record) and worked for several years as a legal secretary. We were married soon after and her brightest success came as an outstanding mother, wife, and homemaker, raising three children (Cindy Lee, Craig, and Daniel) and a husband (me) even while working! On top of the rest Carolyn was an avid animal lover (especially dogs and cats) and ever kept her kingdom populated with furry friends. We found a church home at Trail Christian Fellowship in Eagle Point, Ore. in 1993 where Carolyn served for many years as a secretary (especially to the Women's Ministry) as well as an official Greeter to new arrivals. She also gave long and faithful service to the Prayer Ministry, being interrupted only when, as time wore on, she was beset by a series of health challenges. Our Carolyn was a warrior, battling leukemia and Crohns disease (among many other issues) for many years without losing the laughter and sweet humor she poured out upon those who knew and loved her. She was our Firecracker! She loved God's people and will be greatly missed by them all. Carolyn was honest, faithful, and courageous and she stole my heart! A memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday December 13, 2014 at Trail Christian Fellowship, Eagle Point.
