Jean Yvonne Baumer Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Feb. 8, 2015 @ 2:00 am Posted Feb. 8, 2015 @ 2:00 am » Social News 1924-2015 Jean Baumer, 90, passed away January 27, 2015. She was born November 1, 1924 in Sunburst, Mont. to Charles and Osie Stuart. Jean was married for 61 years to the love of her life, Jim. They lived in the Rogue Valley and together owned and operated Baumer Sheet Metal for 25 years until retiring. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church, Medford Chamber of Commerce, American Red Cross, and Soroptimist Intl. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Spores and Tracy Ritchie; son, Kenneth Baumer; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; son, Brooks; grandson, Chad; and her five brothers and sisters. A celebration of life honoring Jean will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Medford First United Methodist Church. The family requests memorial donations to go to the Southern Oregon chapter of the American Red Cross.
