NBC's Friday night horror show will be 13 episodes, instead of the typical 22, in order to let the peacock network add more shows to its full fall slate. The network renewed eight dramas for next season with Mysteries of Laura still waiting to have its fate confirmed. Grimm mega buzz: Wu faces a crisis Giving Grimm a 13-episode order will allow NBC to easily move the show to mid-season and give it more flexibility on the scheduling front, not an indicator of the show's performance. The news may be worrying for fans used to a longer season, but Deadline says that order leaves room for expansion and the show could bump up its numbers and extend into summer.
