Christine V. Beard Oct 11, 2006 12:00 AM A A Christine V. Beard Christine V. Beard died October 3, 2006 in Susanville, Calif. She was born December 10, 1952 in Santa Monica, Calif. to Lawrence and Fahn Varin. She married Michael J. Beard on September 20, 1985. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Beard; step-daughters, Heather McDermott and Michelle Beard; grandson, Dana Jenard, all of Oregon; brother, Dennis Varin, of Oregon; sister, Valerie (Rocky) Tarchione, of Calif.; brother, Wesley (Marsha) Varin, of Penn.; nephews, Toby Varin and Randy (Candy) Varin, of Oregon; nephew, Troy (Jode) Tarchione; niece, Torrie (Doug) Tarchione; nephew, Travis (Tina) Tarchione; and many great-nieces and nephews.
