All workshops are free but require registration by calling 541-774-2000. The classes will cover identification of flood conditions and hazards, how to fill sandbags effectively, and other flood-fighting techniques and tools. The first class will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Jackson County Roads Department auditorium, 7250 Table Rock Road, Central Point.
