Zakuri Williams, 32, remains in the Jackson County Jail without bail on charges of second-degree burglary, criminal mischief and an out of county warrant, according to jail records. The Jackson County Sheriff's Department responded to the church at 7924  E. Evans Creek Road at 5:05 a.m. today. A church official reported some computers in the church had been taken, along with various other items. Investigators determined that Williams had been in the area late Monday into the early morning of Tuesday while "highly intoxicated," according to a sheriff's department news release. An acquaintance of Williams later found him asleep on a couch with some items from the church with him and went to the church. After learning about the burglary, the acquaintance directed deputies back to where Williams was sleeping. He was arrested around 10 a.m., police said.  Investigators are still working out how the burglar got into the church, officials said.
