Frohnmayer's condition is still serious University of Oregon President Dave Frohnmayer remained in a Maryland hospital listed in serious condition Sunday, two days after suffering heart troubles while at a meeting in Maryland. Frohnmayer, the 59-year-old Medford native and former Oregon attorney general, suffered a sudden interference with this normal heart beat while participating Friday in a board meeting of the National Marrow Donor Registry. His condition was upgraded Saturday from critical to serious condition, but there was no change Sunday, said Marla Rae, who is acting as a spokesperson for the Frohnmayers. After his condition was upgraded Saturday, doctors had told the family not to expect any change in his status through the weekend until more tests are done during the week, Rae said.
