Bob Dole stated at his acceptance speech at the Rupublican National Convention in 1996 that his opponent Bill Clinton isn’t his enemy. Political opponents shouldn’t be. An enemy is someone we hate, and fight against in times of war. In this Commentary, Larry Mendte breaks down our political differences, the great chasm that has been created that divides the blue and the red, and how the media has been a torrential influence.
