City planners postpone mobile home park hearing The Medford Planning Commission decided Thursday to postpone a public hearing on the largest mobile home park ever proposed in Oregon. After receiving a packet of material including letters against and in support of the park as well as engineering studies of the site, commissioners decided to continue the hearing until June 10 on the proposed 514-home park. The applicant agreed to the delay. It was the third time the issue has been pushed back. Stonebrook Associates, a group of Medford partners who declined to identify themselves Thursday, want to build the project on 88 acres on the north side of Rossanley Drive, west of North Ross Lane in west Medford. The park would also include mini-storage and RV storage, which would act as a buffer between the housing and the existing Sage Road Industrial Park.
