"We had a 45 percent increase in businesses participating in our annual career networking night," said Linda Barnes, SOU director of career services. With national unemployment dropping below 5 percent in April for the first time since the 1970s and large companies returning to campuses across the country to recruit fresh talent, school officials say graduates are facing bright futures.
