Man accidentally parks inside Goodwill store An 88-year-old Medford man walked away uninjured from the Goodwill store at 1241 S. Riverside Ave. after accidentally parking his car inside the building Sunday afternoon. Fred S. Adams, of the 1500 block of Clearspring Drive, was reportedly parked in front of Goodwill when he mistakenly put the gear shift of his 1988 Dodge station wagon in drive instead of reverse as he attempted to leave, said Medford Police Lt. Tim George. Emergency personnel responding to the 1:45 p.m. accident included Medford Police, Medford Fire Department and Mercy Flights. No injuries were reported though Goodwill patrons inside the store moved quickly to avoid the advancing vehicle. "He just put it in "D" instead of "R", got confused and ended up plowing into the building," George said. "It sounds like he could be a candidate for a DMV retest."
