’Major’ fire reported at Galice Resort By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Jun 08, 2021 12:23 PM A A Rural Metro fire has responded to a "major fire incident“ at the Galice Resort in Josephine County, according to an agency Facebook post. “Please avoid the area to prevent congestion as crews work on the building and the spread to wildland,” the post reads. “Currently no injuries reported.” The long-running iconic resort includes a restaurant, lodging, whitewater rentals, shuttle, and guided day rafting/kayaking services.
