Sgt. Tighe O'Meara of the Ashland Police said two to three males entered the home, where one man lived, and took the money. No one was hurt in the robbery attempt, and no weapons were used. "Because of the nature of this, I can't get into a whole lot of details on how it went down," O'Meara said, adding police believe the robbers knew where the property was and what they were looking for, but would not comment on specifics. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Ashland police at 541-488-2211.
