Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend February 5, 2006 Leif Andrew Bjornsen Sex abuser sought for probation violation Medford police need help tracking a convicted felon and registered sex offender who hasn’t told police his new address. Leif Andrew Bjornsen, 29, was arrested and convicted in 2000 for first-degree sex abuse. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, 10 years probation and a $1,000 fine and was required to register as a sex offender. He violated the terms of his probation and was incarcerated in the Oregon State Penitentiary in May 2001. He was released in December 2001. As a registered sex offender, Bjornsen is required by law to report his new address within 10 days of moving and within 10 days of his birthday. The last time Bjornsen registered was Sept. 28, with a White City address. Because Bjornsen has failed to comply with the terms of his parole and has not registered a current address, the Oregon State Board of Parole and Probation has issued a no-bail felony warrant for his arrest Bjornsen is described as a white male adult, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a "yin/yang" symbol tattooed on his upper right arm, a scar on his left arm and a birthmark on his right leg. The picture shown here, taken Sept. 28, is the most recent available.
