Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend October 21, 2005 Emergency Services Felony arrests Drugs — Steven Bruce Stratton, 48, of the 16000 block of First Street, Hornbrook, Calif. Phoenix police Thursday arrested Stratton on two counts of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of driving with a suspended license and two counts of failure to appear in court. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Thursday on $48,000 bail. Driver escapes after traffic stop Jackson County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who eluded them Thursday during a traffic stop in Gold Hill. William Brad Johnson, 39, fled his gray Ford pickup after a sheriff’s deputy pulled him over on Upper River Road near the Gold Nugget sports park. Josephine County sheriff’s deputies responded with a police dog, but could not locate Johnson, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Winters said. Johnson is wanted for multiple warrants for eluding police and reckless driving. Winters said that he considers Johnson "dangerous" and that anyone who makes contact with him call 9-1- 1. He was last seen at around 5:30 p.m. heading on foot toward the sports park. He is described as five feet, 11 inches tall with blue eyes and blond hair.
