Dr. Linda Schott, who currently is president at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, will travel to the area June 2 and 3, according to a Southern Oregon University news release. Schott has a doctorate in history and humanities from Stanford University and a master's degree in history, also from Stanford, according to the release. Schott follows candidates Dr. Michael Tidwell, who visited May 25-26, and Dr. Terry Allison, who is here today and Thursday. During their visits, the finalists meet with university constituent groups and hold "town hall-style" forums that are open to the public. Schott's forum will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at SOU's Science Building, Room 151, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd. Allison's forum will be today at 3:30 p.m., also in Room 151 of the Science Building.
