Medford police seek home-invasion suspect Anthony Moreno Wednesday Jan 25, 2017 at 9:15 AM Jan 25, 2017 at 6:17 PM Nick Morgan Mail Tribune @mtcrimebeatRyan Pfeil Mail Tribune @RyanPfeil Four people have been arrested for a home-invasion robbery that occurred Monday in Medford, and police are looking for a fifth man who they say was involved. Anthony Moreno, 18, is considered armed and dangerous, according to Medford police. He is 6-feet-1, weighs 185 pounds, and has black hair and dark eyes. Police posted his photograph on Facebook and are asking locals to keep an eye out. A warrant was issued for Moreno's arrest, and if he is spotted, people should call 911 or 541-770-4783. The robbery occurred at about 1 a.m. Monday at a house on Morrow Road in Medford, police said. A woman at the home answered the door after someone knocked and asked for a family member. Five people, including Moreno, reportedly rushed in and assaulted the woman, who sustained injuries to her face. At least one of the robbers was armed with a handgun. Police said the robbers menaced the occupants with the gun and a baseball bat while they stole property. Three suspects were found while police responded to an unrelated call Tuesday afternoon at the Motel 6 on Alba Street, according to Medford police Lt. Justin Ivens. Arrested at the motel was Christian Lamar Brice, 18, Jabriel Aaquann Fleming, 20, and Alfonso Kesler, 17. Ivens said stolen property recovered at the motel included miscellaneous electronics. "We were able to connect the dots," Ivens said. A fourth suspect, Alejandro Medina-Mello, 18, was arrested Wednesday after he was stopped in the 800 block of Krissy Dee while driving a dark green Honda Accord believed to have been involved in the case. All five suspects face the same felony charges: three counts of second-degree robbery, two counts of third-degree assault and a single count of first-degree burglary. Brice, Fleming and Medina-Mello remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $100,000 bail, jail records showed.
