She was born September 24, 1948 in Inglewood, Calif. Kathy graduated from Charter Oak High School in Covina, Calif. in 1966. She married Larry Boyum in August of that year, and they moved to Oregon, where they raised three daughters. Kathy loved her family, her church, her friends, and trips to the coast. She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry; her three daughters, Mandy Winter (Kevin), Andrea Caster (Kevin), and Carrie Cordova (Will); her adoring grandchildren, Josh Winter (Tricia), Jourdan Caster, and Alexander Cordova; and her sisters and a brother, Suzie Montgomery (Blaine), Diane Larson (Al), and Steve Wald. The family extends a special 'thank you' to Providence Hospice, especially nurse, Nancy Heyerman and caregiver, Lourdes Cervantes. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held this spring.
