Ashland Congregational Church Ashland Congregational Church, 717 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland, will celebrate the beginning of Advent with the traditional "Hanging of Greens" and tree decorating on Saturday, Dec. 5. As part of his family Christmas tradition, church member Zach Light will lead participants in the search for the "perfect tree." Participants will gather at the church at 10:30 a.m. and be back to the church by 3 p.m. to decorate.
