Victim of fire upgraded to fair condition An Eagle Point woman who was hospitalized after suffering smoke inhalation during a house fire that killed her son is now in fair condition, a Rogue Valley Medical Center nursing supervisor said. Diana Harrington and her four children were at their Butte Falls Highway home Jan. 11 when an unattended candle caused a fire, injuring Harrington and her youngest child, 2-year-old Hannah. Sean, 10, was killed. Firefighters found his body in an upstairs bedroom. Harrington was taken to RVMC and remained in critical condition for several days in the hospital's intensive care unit, where doctors were using a respirator to help her breathe. Hannah remained in critical condition late Tuesday in the Legacy Emanuel Hospital's burn unit in Portland.
