While Leffingwell was at the Jackson County Jail on probation violation charges, Medford police added charges Friday of second-degree assault, first-degree robbery, attempted first-degree kidnapping, unauthorized use of a vehicle and tampering with evidence. Police linked Leffingwell with an early Monday morning beating on Bessie Street. He remained in jail Friday night without bail. Assault — Kelley Gene Gettling, 39, no address listed. While Gettling was at the Jackson County Jail on probation violation charges, Medford police added charges Friday of second-degree assault, first-degree robbery, attempted first-degree kidnapping and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Police linked Gettling with an early Monday morning beating on Bessie Street. He remained in jail Friday night without bail. Forgery — Amanda Leigh Atkinson, 24, of the 300 block of South Stage Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Atkinson Thursday on charges of first- and second-degree forgery, attempted first- and second-degree theft and two counts of identity theft. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Friday night on $103,000 bail. Drugs — Floyd Kenneth Skinner III, 26, of the 2100 block of Taylor Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Skinner Friday morning on charges of possession and delivery of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail and later released on his own recognizance. Vehicle theft — Ron Jeffrey Jackson, 24, of Medford. Medford police arrested Jackson Friday on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $15,000 bail. Advertisement Vehicle theft — Jeremy William Jackson, 28, of Medford. Medford police arrested Jackson Friday on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $15,000 bail. Robbery — Kelly Jean Leffler, 23, of the 5700 block of Gebhard Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Leffler Friday on charges of third-degree robbery, fourth-degree assault, third-degree theft, disorderly conduct and two counts of harassment. He was booked into jail, then released when he posted cash bail. Theft — Timothy Richard Weckerle, 32, of Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Weckerle Friday on charges of theft and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Friday night on $20,000 bail.
