A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Cole on charges of first-degree theft, second-degree theft and resisting arrest. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday on $35,000 bail. Coercion — Charles Ralph Taboada Jr., 36, of the 300 block of Schoolhouse Road, Talent. A Talent police officer Saturday arrested Taboada on charges of coercion and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $8,000 bail. Drugs, weapons — Jesse Lee Jeska, 23, of the first block of Deacon Court, Shady Cove. An Eagle Point police officer Saturday arrested Jeska on charges of possession of amphetamines, failure to appear in court and warrants charging him with being a felon in possession of a weapon, attempted eluding in a vehicle and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $33,950 bail. Tampering — Wendy Lynn Gregory, 37, of the 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Gregory on a charge of tampering with drug records. He was lodged in jail, then later released because of overcrowding. Theft, burglary — Jenifer Raenia Wanzer, 21, of the 700 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. A sheriff’s deputy late Friday arrested Wanzer on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and a warrant charging her with mail theft. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Saturday on $29,000 bail. Drugs — Michael Joseph Atwood, 40, of the 100 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer late Friday arrested Atwood on charges of possession of amphetamines and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail, then later released because of overcrowding. Advertisement Assault — Kevin Patrick Smith, 31, of the 1800 block of Hybiscus Street, Medford. A Medford police officer late Friday arrested Smith on two counts of fourth-degree assault, harassment and interfering with a police report. He was lodged in jail, then later released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Timothy Alan Shepherd, 20, of the 4600 block of Payne Road, Phoenix. A Phoenix police officer late Friday arrested Shepherd on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, then later released because of overcrowding. Drugs — John Boze Madden, 41, of the 1000 block of Hueners Lane, Jacksonville. A Medford police officer late Friday arrested Madden on charges of possession of amphetamines, second-degree trespass and third-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail, then later released because of overcrowding. Crime reports Burglary — 14500 block of Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and stole an unspecified amount of money. Burglary — 100 block of Tripp Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and stole a gun, watch and passport valued at $200.
