We'd like to use Holmes Park but the playground equipment was removed several months ago. Do you have any idea when the new equipment is scheduled to be installed? -- Erin M., Medford Can we play too, Erin? Holmes Park, on Modoc Avenue in Medford, is scheduled to get the new playground equipment installed in July, according to Bev Power, customer-service specialist with the Medford Parks and Recreation Department. She said the work will begin after the new playground equipment is installed at Fichtner-Mainwaring Park on Stewart Avenue. There will be two structures, one for tots and one for older children, with slides, a fire pole, a small climbing wall, and lots to crawl on and hang from.
