Main St., Phoenix. The group seeks to distribute cabinet-sized book "houses" for adults and children where individuals take and leave books. Tickets are $5 each, or five can be purchased for $20. Proceeds benefit the construction and placement of six Little Free Libraries in Phoenix and Talent. See www.lfltalenphoenix.weebly.com or email [email protected]. Toy Science at ScienceWorks: The museum, 1500 E. Main St., Ashland, hosts exhibits year-round that explore energy, anatomy, chemistry, perception, motion, engineering and more.The exhibit Toy Science opens Saturday, Nov. 22, and runs through January with game-style exhibits demonstrating physics, math and strategy. The popular exhibit Sportsology has returned to the museum and features Vertical Vault, Action Reaction Wall, Great Grip, Wheelchair Racer, Pitching Cage and Hang Time. Visitors can test their athletic abilities while learning how their bodies work. The Sportsology exhibit will run until March 1. Admission costs $9, $7 for children 2 to 12 and adults older than 65. Admission is free on the first Wednesday of every month. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday in the fall, winter and spring. The Schneider Museum of Art: Selections from PORTLAND2014: A Biennial of Contemporary Art, an exhibit that surveys Oregon artists who are defining and advancing the contemporary arts landscape, will run through Dec. 6 at The Schneider Museum of Art on the Southern Oregon University campus, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. Curator Amanda Hunt visited nearly 50 studios and reviewed more than 300 entries before selecting 15 Oregon artists to participate in the exhibit. These artists include up-and-coming as well as established professionals who work in a variety of media. Most are based in Portland, Salem or Eugene.
