The Indians (9-1 SOC) used 69-of-73 efficiency on serving and 13 aces to put away the Eagles (5-5). "Serving was the difference," said Roseburg head coach Bruce Myers. Eagle Point lost despite a monster, 13-kill, 11-dig effort from senior middle blocker Ashley Curtis. The Indians were led by senior Katie Fuller’s 10 kills and five blocks. Sophomore Emily Waldron added nine kills, and senior Annie Palm had four aces. Advertisement Nicole Lucas and Shannon Richardson had seven kills apiece for Eagle Point. Amanda Grieve added 16 kills, and Annie Mannenbach had 11 assists. ASHLAND 25-25-25, KLAMATH UNION 12-10-20 — At Ashland, seniors Chelsea Van Lehn and Corey Van Landingham paced the Ashland attack. Right-side hitter Van Lehn slammed a team-high nine kills, while Van Landingham came through with seven kills, 10 digs and two aces. Senior middle blocker Kristina Voskes had a strong all-around match with five aces, five kills, three digs and two blocks. Grizzly sophomore setter Lindsey Stone contributed 17 assists in 30 attempts. GRANTS PASS 25-25-25, CRATER 23-16-16 — At Grants Pass, senior Erin Glovinsky tallied 13 kills for Grants Pass in the SOC match. Senior Katie Tardieu was the backbone of the Caver defense with 15 digs, while fellow senior Shanna Claflin had a good night from the service line with five aces. Crater sophomore middle Amanda Pinkala led the Comets with 10 kills. Junior outside hitter Justine Bettencourt was close behind with eight kills and led Crater in digs with 12.
