Vanderhoff scores 23 in loss MONMOUTH -- Western Baptist's 59-percent shooting from the floor countered a 23-point effort by Western Oregon's Mike Vanderhoff as the Warriors upset the Wolves, 78-73, Tuesday night. Vanderhoff, a former South Medford standout and Portland State transfer, scored 16 points in the second half. He also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and had three steals for the Western Oregon (1-3), which has been ranked No. 11 among NCAA Division II schools.
