Police were called at 7 a.m. to the Greenbriar Terrace Mobile Home Park, a community for residents 55 and older in the 300 block of Freeman Road. Investigators found multiple tires slashed on the vehicles. All told, eight owners were affected. Central Point police Officer Joe Vargas said most of the cars had either two or four of their tires damaged. The cuts were not obvious gouges, but what Vargas called subtle marks on the sides of the tires. "(The vehicles) were all kind of clumped together, kind of located in one region of the trailer park," Vargas said. "It was strictly limited to the park." Vargas estimates the vandalism caused thousands of dollars in damage, though an exact figure was not yet known. No suspect descriptions were available, and police have not yet been able to find any security camera footage that would aid their investigation.
